-- Legends and myths are the way people give their lives a sense of continuity and explain to themselves how their personal universe functions. The most common family legend is the collection of pictures in the photo album. How we view the landscapes of our lives reflects our fundamental connection between the spiritual and physical worlds in which we live; I think of these pieces as "snapshots" of that connection.
